The census date is the last date you can:
- withdraw from a unit
- withdraw from your course
- apply for a leave of absence
without remaining liable to pay for the subject, and without it appearing on your academic transcript and statements.
The Census date is published on the Institute calendar on the Institute's Website
For international students, withdrawing from a unit or course, or taking a leave of absence, may affect your student visa and you should contact the Department of Home Affairs to understand the impact this may have.
